Welcome to week three of improving my functioning in 2025. If you haven’t seen last week, you can do so here. This week I will be completing my CPAP series as it’s been around a month. If you want more information, comment below.
I’ll also share about the other goals I set and how they’re going.
So…how’d week three (and four) go?
Meh, it was pretty much the same as last week. Still having the same problems, but found out after some experimentation that I prefer to have the humidifier on. I tried without for a few days and liked it, but the humidifier helps. I also did not feel as energized as I had previously, but my mood stayed decent. It was kind of weird, if I’m honest. Maybe it had to do with my experiment, maybe it was the week I had, maybe both. If it helps the mental health and I’m seeing just enough energy in the reserves to make it worth it, I’ll keep going.
How about those other goals?
Exercising
My strength training and weight loss stuff hasn’t gone anywhere as of yet. Mornings are when I like to do things, but getting myself out of bed before the last minute these past couple of weeks has been difficult. By the time I get home from work, I’m usually spent, so workouts haven’t been happening. However, I did get some new to me supplies, so I can get going now. I have a plan and know what I’m going to do, so now I just need to get going.

There is a PT on YouTube called Tone and Tighten. I’ve been following him for a while and have benefitted from his videos. I’ll likely continue to use his videos to target the areas I know need work. They are short and can be done at home, which I think will work better for me at least until winter is over.
Intermittent Fasting and Nutrition
I have been intermittent fasting again. It’s something that I do off and on, and I hope it helps. It has definitely been easier this time around. Typically, I do a 16:8, but I vary it and make sure to follow a protocol that is healthy for women. I do need to get better about upping my nutrition, especially after ending a fast. This is tricky for me since my Shakeology subscription ended. I’m still trying to find something to replace it and I’m struggling. No dairy, gluten, or corn is hard to find. More so, if you want it to taste good.
Intermittent fasting isn’t for everyone, so make sure it’s something you can mentally and physically do before starting. If you’re prone to disordered eating in any way, just don’t. I border on the edge, so I try to be more mindful. It helps that I “dirty fast”, give myself the week before my period off, and am open to staggering my fasting lengths.
If you have any suggestions for a meal replacement shake with gut healing stuffs inside, I’d love to hear about it! Share below :)
