Welcome back! Here at Adventures of Seleana we are gearing up for the upcoming season. Keep an eye out for new adventures starting in May! I have briefly talked about some of the apps I use while hiking, camping, etc. previously, but I figure it could use it’s own post. Without further ado, the apps I use to not get lost, plan my trips, and have fun.

AllTrails
This is the biggest one I use for planning and not getting lost. If you’ve been around, you know I am directionally challenged and this has kept me get to where I want to go. Plus, some of those trails are not well marked, so saved me from wandering around in circles like a fool for miles.
I like that it has a navigate option that can both lead you to the trailhead and get you through the trail.
There is a free and paid option. I have used both and still currently have the paid subscription. It is about $35 per year and I’m not upset that I paid that. There is also currently a referral program that plants trees! So if you’d like to connect with me there, plant some trees, and hit the trails click here. Make sure to create your free profile and download the free app.
MN DNR
So, this isn’t an app but it is where I get a lot of my information from. It’s also where I book all of my State Park campgrounds. This site is like the all knowing being on all of the parks and recreation areas in the entire state. Check them out :)
Yodel
This isn’t one I have used personally, but one of my hiking buddies has and said it’s a good one. I know that it can be used to purchase firewood and day passes, as well as pay fees at the state forest campgrounds at the parks when the office is closed.
And as always…Be safe out there! REMEMBER YOUR MAPS AND PASSPORT STAMPS!! Seeyalaterbye <3
Also, if you feel called to help a sista out with her travels, check this out!
